Students will be introduced to the five CASEL competencies—Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, Relationship Skills, and Responsible Decision-Making—and understand why SEL matters. This foundational 45-minute Tier 1 lesson for a 3rd grade class builds emotional literacy and equips students with essential life skills to thrive in and out of the classroom.
