Lesson Plan

Your Calm Toolbox Lesson Plan

Students will identify and practice three coping strategies to manage stress and big emotions, then create a personal “calm toolbox” they can use when upset.

Building coping skills early helps students regulate emotions, improve focus, and build resilience. Equipping 4th–5th graders with concrete tools supports positive behavior and academic engagement.
