Lesson Plan

Taming the Worry Monster

Students will learn and practice three core anxiety-coping skills—deep breathing, grounding techniques, and positive self-talk—while identifying personal worry triggers, so they leave with tangible tools to manage everyday stress.

Teaching coping skills empowers students to recognize anxiety early, build emotional resilience, and maintain focus and well-being in and out of the classroom.
