Stop the Rumor Train Session 1

Students will learn to define gossip, understand its potential harm, and practice identifying real-life gossip scenarios to build empathy and awareness.

Fifth graders often encounter rumors and gossip as they approach middle school. Learning to recognize and discuss gossip promotes a respectful classroom culture, strengthens peer relationships, and equips students with skills to resist harmful talk.
