Students will build awareness of tone and develop skills for respectful communication through readings, activities, games, and role-plays, culminating in a peer collaboration project.

Understanding tone and respectful language helps students navigate social interactions, fosters empathy, and supports positive peer relationships—especially important for special education learners who benefit from explicit guidance.
