Pause and Breathe Plan
In this 30-minute Tier 3 session, the student will learn to recognize early signs of social anxiety and panic, practice mindful breathing, and complete an individualized coping plan to use in distressing situations.
Social anxiety and panic can disrupt learning; by mastering quick, accessible coping strategies, students can regulate their emotions, reduce panic symptoms, and participate more confidently in class.
