Toolkit Creation Plan

Students will learn and practice two self-calming strategies—belly breathing and counting to four—to manage strong feelings and create a personalized calm-down kit for future use.

Building self-management and mindfulness skills helps Pre-K students take responsibility for their emotions, reduce big feelings, and gain confidence using simple calming techniques.
