Lesson Plan

Mirror My Emotions Lesson Plan

Students will identify and label four basic emotions—happy, sad, mad, and scared—using facial expressions and mirrors to build self-awareness and emotion vocabulary.

Recognizing and naming feelings helps Pre-K children develop social-emotional skills, boosting self-awareness, empathy, and communication. This lesson lays the foundation for understanding emotions in themselves and others.
