Lesson Plan

Mirror Faces Fun Plan

Students will identify and label four basic emotions—happy, sad, mad, scared—by observing and mimicking facial expressions using handheld mirrors.

Early emotion recognition fosters self-awareness, builds emotion vocabulary, and supports social–emotional development in Pre-K learners, laying a foundation for healthy peer interactions and emotional regulation.
