Identity Shield Instructions

Students will create a personalized “identity shield” that illustrates at least four facets of their identity—interests, culture, values, and goals—by selecting symbols, colors, and text to represent each facet.

This lesson builds self-awareness, celebrates individual diversity, and fosters a supportive classroom community by allowing students to share and reflect on who they are.
