Chromatic Scale Assessment Plan

Students will individually perform a two-octave chromatic scale to demonstrate precise intonation, steady rhythm, and clear technique, enabling targeted feedback and goal-setting within a 30-minute session.

This assessment pinpoints each student’s strengths and areas for improvement in essential fundamentals—intonation, rhythm, and technique—laying the groundwork for enhanced ensemble cohesion and individual musicianship.
