Calm Corner Countdown
Students will learn to recognize and name their emotions using visual supports and practice a simple mindful breathing strategy to manage their feelings. By the end of the lesson, each student will demonstrate at least one self-regulation technique independently.
This lesson helps students build foundational emotional skills, reducing disruptions and improving focus. Teaching self-regulation early promotes a positive classroom environment and supports students’ social-emotional development.
