Students will learn and practice deep belly breathing to manage strong emotions by visualizing their bellies as balloons and following simple inhale–hold–exhale steps.

Deep belly breathing equips students with an immediate, portable tool to reduce stress, increase emotional self-regulation, and build a foundation for handling anger, anxiety, and conflict.
