• Give one example: “I feel ___ when ___.”

You have 30 seconds each. Everyone else, watch and learn!”

(Leaders rotate quickly: each picks a card, models breaths or counting or “I feel…” statement.)

Teacher (after each demo):
“Great job, [Name]! That was clear and confident.”

4. Team Teaching Activity (10 minutes)

Materials: Scenario Cards, Calm Down Cards, Anger Avengers Tokens

Teacher:
“Now, return to your teams of 4–5. Each team has one leader wearing a badge, plus calm-down cards and tokens. Ready?”

(Students settle in groups.)

Teacher:
“Team Teaching Steps:

  1. Leader draws a Scenario Card and reads it aloud.
  2. The team discusses: Which strategy works best?
  3. Leader models that strategy with the calm-down card.
  4. Leader asks a teammate to explain it in a sentence or show it.
  5. If correct, the leader awards 1 token to the team’s cup.

Each group completes 2 scenarios. I’ll walk around to cheer you on!”

(Teacher circulates as groups work. After two scenarios, signal transition.)

5. Rotate Leadership (3 minutes)

Materials: same as above

Teacher:
“Time to pass the cape! Leaders, hand your badge to a new teammate. New leaders, get ready to guide one more scenario.”

(New leaders draw one card, repeat the model–explain–token routine.)

(After 3 minutes, ask teams to finish and prepare for reflection.)

6. Wrap-Up Reflection (1 minute)

Materials: none

Teacher (closing circle):
“Leaders, how did it feel teaching your strategy today?”

(Select 1–2 leaders to respond.)

Teacher:
“And team members, how did learning from a classmate help you remember the strategy?”

(Select 1 student to respond.)

Teacher (smiling):
“You all stepped up as true Anger Avengers Leaders! Keep using these strategies every day—and help others do the same. Great work!”

(Collect badges, cards, and tokens. High-five the class.)
