Calm Down Crew

In this interactive 25-minute lesson, 1st-grade ESL students will learn and practice three simple calm-down tools—belly breathing, squeeze and let go, and counting—to regulate their bodies and minds. This Tier 1 lesson uses visuals, games, and repeated modeling to support limited‐English learners and build foundational self‐regulation skills.
