In this 45-minute introductory lesson for 3rd graders, students will discover the five CASEL competencies and understand why social-emotional learning (SEL) is essential for everyday life. This Tier 1 class-wide lesson uses interactive activities to build self-awareness and relationship skills, setting the foundation for a supportive classroom culture.
