Students will learn to recognize hate speech, understand its impact on individuals and communities, and practice responding with respectful language to foster empathy and inclusion.

Addressing hate speech early builds students’ social–emotional skills, promotes a positive classroom culture, and equips them with the confidence to stand up against harmful language.
