Words Matter Lesson Plan

By the end of this 30-minute lesson, 3rd graders will recognize how swearing can hurt feelings, learn respectful word alternatives, and practice positive communication in group activities.

Swearing can damage relationships and harm the classroom atmosphere. Teaching respectful language builds empathy, encourages kindness, and fosters a safer, more supportive learning environment.
