In this lesson, students will write a wish for the winter break on a slip of paper and place it into a class jar. Step 1
Introduction
3 minutes
- Welcome students and explain the purpose of the activity: to share positive wishes for the winter break.
- Discuss the importance of optimism and sharing positive thoughts.
Step 2
Writing Wishes
10 minutes
- Distribute slips of paper and pens/pencils to each student.
- Instruct students to write one wish they have for the winter break.
- Encourage them to think about something positive they hope for themselves or others.
Step 3
Sharing and Collecting
5 minutes
- Invite students to share their wishes with the class if they feel comfortable.
- Collect all the wishes in the jar, explaining that they will be kept as a reminder of everyone's hopes.
- Reflect on the activity by discussing how sharing wishes can bring us closer and create a positive environment.
- Thank students for participating and encourage them to keep thinking positively.
