Who Do You See?

Students will choral read a simple “All About Me” poem to build oral language and confidence, then draw and label their own self-portraits—naming facial features and choosing an emotion—to develop vocabulary, body awareness, and fine motor skills.

Integrating choral reading with art supports early literacy, self-expression, and fine motor development. This lesson helps Pre-K learners recognize and name body parts, practice new words together, and build confidence through sharing their own artwork.
