What’s Your Wellness Superpower?

Discover your personal health strengths and learn how to use them every day.

Welcome the class warmly. Introduce today’s adventure: discovering our unique wellness superpowers! Encourage excitement and curiosity.

What Is a Wellness Superpower?

A wellness superpower is a personal habit or strength that helps you feel strong, healthy, and happy.

Define the term clearly. Emphasize that superpowers aren’t capes—they’re healthy habits and strengths within each student.

Why Discover Your Superpower?

  • Builds self-awareness and confidence
  • Encourages healthy habits
  • Helps you feel your best every day

Help students see why this matters. Relate to their lives: sports, school, playtime, friendships.

Examples of Wellness Superpowers

  • Eating balanced meals
  • Moving and playing regularly
  • Getting plenty of sleep
  • Drinking water throughout the day
  • Thinking positively

Show real examples. Invite students to shout out any others they practice already.

Strengths Brainstorm Carousel

  1. Form small groups at station sheets
  2. Read the prompt and list superpowers
  3. Rotate every 3 minutes until all stations are complete
  4. Return your sheets for us to review together

Explain the carousel activity. Show how groups will rotate, record ideas, and return to share.

Station Prompts

  • How I stay active
  • How I fuel my body
  • How I relax and recharge
  • How I practice positive thinking

Read each prompt aloud. Ensure students understand each station’s focus before they begin.

Personal Reflection

• Choose your top two wellness superpowers
• Write one daily action step for each superpower
• Think about when and how you’ll do it

Guide students through reflection. Circulate to support ideas and action steps.

Share-It-Out Circle

• Form a circle and take turns sharing one superpower
• Describe your action plan
• Give each speaker one positive comment

Explain circle sharing ground rules: active listening, respect, and positive feedback.

Your Superpower Action Plan
