Sharing Our Strengths Circle Discussion

Now that you've identified your individual 'super skill,' let's share and celebrate our collective strengths as a class!

Discussion Guidelines:

  • Listen respectfully when others are sharing.
  • Everyone's strengths are valuable and unique.
  • You can agree or politely disagree with how someone applies a skill, but always be kind.

Discussion Prompts:

  1. Who would like to share their 'super skill' and how they use it in their daily life? What made you choose that particular skill?

  2. Can anyone think of a classmate's 'super skill' that they admire or have seen in action? What was it and when did you see it?

  3. Why do you think it's important to know your own strengths? How can knowing your strengths help you in school or when thinking about future jobs?

  4. How can recognizing the strengths of others help us work better as a team in class or in a group project?

  5. (Optional) Is there a 'super skill' you'd like to develop more? What steps could you take to grow that skill?
