Lesson Plan

Interactive Zone Plan

Students will identify and label their emotional regulation state using the Zones of Regulation framework by circling the correct zone in various real-life scenarios and sharing their reasoning with peers.

Building self-awareness of emotions helps 2nd graders recognize and manage their feelings, leading to better self-regulation, improved classroom behavior, and a supportive learning environment.
