Expression Detective Plan

Students will become 'Expression Detectives' who observe classmates’ facial expressions and body language to accurately infer emotions and practice perspective-taking.

Building social awareness and perspective-taking in 2nd graders fosters empathy, improves peer communication, and supports a positive classroom community by reducing misunderstandings.
