Activity

Emotion Flashcards Activity

The flashcards in this activity will display a variety of facial expressions, each representing a distinct emotion. These cards are meant to aid the student in visually identifying and naming emotions. The interactive process of matching expressions with emotion names enhances understanding and builds a stronger connection between the visual cues and emotional states.

How to Use the Flashcards

  1. Display the Flashcards: Show each flashcard one by one to the student.
  2. Identification: Ask the student to name the emotion they see on the flashcard.
  3. Discussion: Engage the student by asking questions such as:
    • "How do you think someone would feel if they had this face?"
    • "Can you tell me a time when you felt this way?"

Feel free to repeat the exercise with different cards to reinforce recognition and understanding of various emotions.

For more guidance on using the flashcards, review the Emotion Recognition Plan.
