Slide Deck

Our Super Clean Powers!

Join the Super Clean Team!

Welcome students and generate excitement for becoming part of the Super Clean Team. Ask them what they think 'super clean powers' might be.

What is the Super Clean Team?

We are heroes who keep ourselves and our friends healthy!

Why is being clean important?

Explain the concept of the Super Clean Team. Emphasize that everyone can be a hero by keeping themselves and others healthy. Connect it to the lesson plan's challenge.

Power #1: Happy Hands!

Wash your hands with soap and water.

When should we wash our hands?

Discuss the importance of handwashing. Ask students when they should wash their hands. Demonstrate the proper technique (singing a song, scrubbing for 20 seconds).

Power #2: Catch That Cough!

Cover your mouth and nose with your elbow or a tissue when you cough or sneeze.

Where do germs go if we don't cover our coughs?

Explain how to cover coughs and sneezes using an elbow or tissue. Discuss why it's important (stopping germs from flying).

Power #3: Sparkly Showers!

Take a bath or shower to wash your body.

How does it feel to be clean?

Talk about bathing and showering to keep our bodies clean. Emphasize that it's a regular habit. Ask them how they feel after a bath.

Power #4: Fresh Clothes!

Wear clean clothes every day.

Why do we need clean clothes?

Discuss wearing clean clothes. Explain that germs and dirt can stick to clothes. Ask why clean clothes are important.

Power #5: Super Smile!

Brush your teeth in the morning and before bed.

What happens if we don't brush our teeth?

Talk about brushing teeth twice a day. Explain it keeps teeth strong and healthy. Ask about their favorite toothpaste flavor.

You are a Super Clean Team Member!

Keep using your powers every day to stay healthy and strong!

Summarize the 'Super Clean Powers' and encourage students to practice them daily. Reiterate their role as Super Clean Team members.
