Storytime

  • Read a storybook about sharing (e.g., 'Llama Llama Time to Share' by Anna Dewdney).
  • Pause occasionally to ask questions about the characters’ feelings and actions.
  • Encourage students to predict what will happen next and discuss alternative actions.

Step 3

The Sharing Game

10 mins

  • Explain the rules of the sharing game.
  • Distribute printable game cards with different sharing scenarios.
  • Students will act out each scenario using a soft toy or puppet to practice sharing and taking turns.
  • Provide guidance and positive reinforcement throughout the game.
