The Confidence Tree Activity

In this activity, you will create your very own "Confidence Tree," where each branch represents one of your personal strengths. This fun, hands-on project will help you remember all the great things about yourself!

Materials Needed

  • Printed tree trunk template
  • Colored branches (colors: #32CD32, #2E8B57, #3CB371)
  • Markers, crayons, or colored pencils
  • Scissors and glue

Steps to Create Your Confidence Tree

1. Introduction

  • Think about what makes you special. What are some things you are really good at or proud of?


2. Creating Your Tree

  • Step 1: Look at the tree trunk template provided by your teacher.


  • Step 2: Choose the colored branches. Each color might represent a different type of strength (for example, green can be for kindness, creativity, or helping others).


  • Step 3: On each branch, write or draw one strength. This can be anything you like: drawing, reading, helping a friend, or even being a good listener!


  • Step 4: Carefully cut out your branches and attach them to the tree trunk using glue.

3. Reflection

  • Once your tree is complete, take a moment to look at it and think about all the wonderful qualities you have.


  • Share your tree with your classmates if you feel comfortable. Tell them about one of your branches and why it is special to you.
