Icebreaker Activity - Human Knot

10 mins

Have the students stand in a circle and hold hands with two different people across from them (not next to them). The objective is to untangle the 'knot' without letting go of each other's hands. This activity will help break the ice and start developing teamwork and communication skills.

Step 3

Group Challenge - Marshmallow Tower

20 mins

Divide the students into small groups and give each group a set of building materials (e.g., spaghetti, marshmallows, tape, and string). The task is to build the tallest free-standing tower possible within the time limit. Emphasize the importance of planning, assigning roles, and communicating effectively.

Step 4

Guided Discussion

10 mins

Conduct a discussion using the provided questions in the Discussion Guide. Focus on what strategies worked, what challenges were encountered, and how the group overcame them. Encourage students to share their thoughts and reflect on their teamwork experience.

Team Reflection Worksheet

5 mins

Hand out the Team Reflection Worksheet and ask students to individually fill it out. This will help them consolidate their learning and reflect on their personal contributions to the team.
