Slide Deck

Super School Citizens

• Learn how to be Respectful, Responsible, and Ready for Learning
• Focus on Hallway, Cafeteria, Playground

Welcome students and set the stage: “Today we’re going to become Super School Citizens by learning how to be respectful, responsible, and ready in three places: hallway, cafeteria, and playground!”

Our Three Super Values

  1. Respectful
  2. Responsible
  3. Ready for Learning

Introduce our three values. You might show simple icon visuals (heart for Respectful, star for Responsible, book for Ready). Ask: “Which value should we show when we’re lining up?”

Hallway Expectations

• Walk with walking feet
• Use quiet voices
• Keep hands to yourself

Display the Hallway Expectations Poster. Read each bullet slowly. Then model a noisy walk vs. quiet walk. Invite a couple of students to show their quiet walking line.

Cafeteria Expectations

• Wait your turn quietly
• Use indoor voices
• Pick up and carry your tray
• Clean up after yourself

Show the Cafeteria Manners Chart. Describe each expectation as you point to it. Pull out a Behavior Scenario Card about waiting in line, and role-play with a volunteer.

Playground Expectations

• Share equipment
• Keep hands and feet to yourself
• Take turns fairly

Display the Playground Rules Chart. Discuss sharing and safety. Ask two students to role-play taking turns on an imaginary slide or swing.

Let’s Practice!

• Teacher reads a behavior scenario
• Students show the correct expectation
• Praise with Super School Citizen stickers

Time to practice! Read a scenario from a card (e.g., “What do you do if someone else is playing with the ball?”). Invite students to show the right behavior.

Wrap-Up and Rewards

• Recap Hallway, Cafeteria, Playground
• Students share one expectation to practice
• Give each student a Super School Citizen sticker

Recap all three places and values. Go around the circle and have each student name one way they’ll be respectful or responsible today. Hand out reward stickers.
