Lesson Plan

Stress Detective Plan

Students will identify common stressors and practice three kid-friendly coping tools—stretching, positive self-talk, and stress balls—then create a personal Relaxation Plan to manage stress.

Self-management skills help students regulate emotions, reduce anxiety, and improve focus. By learning coping tools early, 3rd graders build resilience and a toolkit for academic success.
