Narrative Structure

  • Beginning: Introduce the characters and setting. What is the normal world like for your characters?
  • Middle: Present a challenge or problem for the characters to face. How do they react? What do they do?
  • End: Resolve the challenge. How have the characters changed?

Character Development

  • Name: What is the character's name?
  • Appearance: What does the character look like?
  • Personality: What is the character like? Are they brave, funny, smart?
  • Goal: What does the character want to achieve?
