Lesson Plan

Decision-Making Blueprint

Students will learn the Stop-Think-Do decision-making model to pause before acting, evaluate options, and choose positive behaviors. By the end, they’ll create personalized flowcharts and commit to using strategies in real-life scenarios.

Teaching Stop-Think-Do helps 4th graders manage impulsivity, build self-regulation, and make thoughtful choices—key social–emotional skills that improve classroom behavior and relationships.
