Instructions for the Teacher:
Gather students in a circle. Read the prompts aloud and encourage open discussion. Remind students about taking turns and listening respectfully to their friends' ideas. Facilitate a supportive environment where all children feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and experiences.

Sharing Relay Race: Team Up to Share!
Instructions for the Teacher:
Set up two or more parallel lines of students. Place a basket of various soft, classroom-appropriate items (e.g., beanbags, soft blocks, stuffed animals) at the front of each line and an empty basket at the end of each line. Explain that the goal is to share the task of moving all the items from the front basket to the back basket, passing them from one teammate to the next without dropping them. Emphasize cooperation and encouragement over speed.
Game Objective:
To successfully move all items from one end of the team line to the other by passing them cooperatively.
Materials Needed:
- Soft blocks, beanbags, or stuffed animals (5-7 per team)
- Two baskets or bins per team (one for start, one for end)
- Open space for students to form lines
How to Play:

Form Teams: Divide the class into 2-4 teams, depending on class size. Have each team form a line.

Set Up: Place a basket filled with items at the front of each line (in front of the first student). Place an empty basket at the end of each line (behind the last student).

Explain Sharing: Tell students, "We are going to play a game where we share the job of moving these items! Everyone in the line needs to help. When you get an item, you will gently pass it to your friend behind you. Work together so no items fall!"

Demonstrate: Briefly demonstrate how to gently pass an item from one person to the next.

Start the Race: On your signal, the first student in each line takes an item from their front basket and passes it to the student behind them. This continues down the line until the last student places the item in the empty basket.

Continue: The team continues passing items one by one until all items are moved from the starting basket to the end basket.

Emphasize Cooperation: Throughout the game, encourage students with phrases like, "Great sharing!" "Look how you're helping your friend!" "Teamwork makes the dream work!"
