Reading
Safety Superhero Story Reading
Meet Super Sam
Every morning, Sam put on his bright red cape and his shiny Safety Superhero badge. He wasn’t the fastest runner or the loudest singer, but he knew something even more important: how to keep everyone safe!
One day, Sam’s teacher asked the class to show their walking feet. While other students hurried across the room, Sam took big steps—one, two, three—and quietly whispered, “Slow and steady keeps us ready!” His friends watched and followed his calm, careful steps.
A Hallway Mission
Later, Sam and his classmates lined up for music. In the hallway, some kids started talking loudly and bumping into each other. Sam put a finger to his lips and whispered, “Quiet voices help us hear our teacher’s voice.” He also kept his hands by his sides like a real superhero guard.
Soon, everyone followed Sam’s example. They walked in a straight line, stayed on the right side, and used their inside voices. The hallway felt peaceful and everyone made it to music class on time!
Safety Powers for Every Adventure
At lunch, recess, art, and even library, Sam kept using his Safety Superhero powers. He showed how to share equipment, clean up trays, carry scissors carefully, and walk quietly. Some days, Sam reminded his friends with a friendly smile. Other days, he cheered when he saw them using safe habits all by themselves.
Sam knew that being a Safety Superhero didn’t require super strength or flying—just smart choices and a caring heart. And every time he used his safety powers, he made school a better place for everyone!
