Lead a discussion using the provided questions to help students think about different types of emergencies and what steps they can take to stay safe.

Safety Plan Worksheet

7 minutes

Distribute the Safety Plan Worksheet and guide students through completing it. Encourage them to think about their home, school, and other places they spend time. Ensure they include key details like phone numbers and meeting spots.

Step 4

Review and Exit Ticket

3 minutes

Conduct a quick review of what was learned. Ask students to share one key point from their safety plan. Finally, distribute the exit ticket for students to complete before they leave.
