Lesson Plan

Safe and Happy Hands Lesson Plan

Students will distinguish between safe (good) touches and unsafe (bad) touches, practice identifying each through discussion and role-play, and learn to say “no” and tell a trusted adult when a touch feels unsafe.

Teaching children about safe and unsafe touches builds foundational safety awareness, promotes bodily autonomy, and empowers them to speak up if they ever feel uncomfortable.
