Rules Roundup Lesson Plan

Students will collaboratively brainstorm, co-create, and internalize a clear set of 3–5 classroom rules, understand their purpose, and commit to following them.

Co-creating rules builds student ownership, respect, and a positive learning environment. When students understand why rules matter, they’re more likely to follow them and support peers.
