Role-Playing for Conflict Resolution

Build conflict resolution skills

This lesson engages students in role-playing exercises to help them navigate peer conflicts. Through scenarios, students will practice identifying conflicts and explore collaborative solutions, building empathy and conflict resolution skills. Step 1

Introduction

5 minutes

Role-Playing Activity

25 minutes

Divide students into small groups and distribute the Role-Playing Scenarios Cards.
Each group selects a scenario and acts it out, focusing on identifying the conflict and exploring solutions.
Encourage students to think about how each character might feel and what they might want.

Step 3

Group Discussion

5 minutes

Reconvene as a class and discuss the different scenarios.
Ask each group to share their scenario and the resolution they came up with.
Discuss what strategies worked well and what could be improved.

5 minutes
