Understand impact of responsibility

This lesson engages 6th-grade students in understanding how responsibility affects both themselves and others through interactive activities and discussions. Step 1

Introduction

5 mins

Begin with a brief discussion on what responsibility means and how it can affect oneself and others.
Ask students to share examples of responsible behavior and its impact on those around them.

Step 2

Class Discussion

10 mins

Facilitate a discussion using the prepared questions to reflect on personal experiences with responsibility.
Guide students to think about the consequences of responsible vs. irresponsible actions on themselves and their community.

Step 3

Worksheet Completion

Distribute the Responsibility Worksheet to each student.
Allow students time to complete the worksheet individually, reflecting on how responsibility affects them and others.
