Respect Rocks Lesson Plan

Students will learn the meaning of respect and practice respectful behaviors by identifying respectful actions in stories and pictures, discussing examples, and demonstrating respect in a group game, culminating in a shared classroom respect pledge.

Teaching respect builds a supportive classroom community, fosters positive peer interactions, and lays the foundation for social-emotional growth by helping Pre-K students treat others and materials with kindness and care.
