Promote resilience through reflection

This lesson engages students in discussions about their personal experiences with failure and what they learned from these moments. It promotes resilience by reframing setbacks as opportunities for growth, helping students develop a positive mindset towards challenges and failures.

Step 1

Introduction

5 minutes

  • Begin with a brief introduction about the concept of resilience and its importance in personal growth.

Step 2

Group Discussion

15 minutes

  • Divide students into small groups.
  • Provide each group with discussion questions to guide their conversation about personal experiences with failure.
  • Encourage students to share their stories and what they learned from those experiences.

Reflection Activity

15 minutes

  • Distribute the Reflection Worksheet to each student.
