Lesson Plan

Session 1 Lesson Plan

Students will learn and practice a five-step problem-solving process by defining each step, applying it to a real-life scenario, and incorporating social thinking skills like perspective-taking and recognizing others’ viewpoints.

Adding social thinking supports empathy, helps students understand and consider multiple perspectives, and strengthens collaborative decision-making and conflict resolution alongside structured problem-solving.
