Slide Deck

Welcome to Pledge for the Planet!

Today, we're learning how to create our very own eco-pledges. Let's explore some ways we can help take care of our Earth.

Introduce the lesson with a captivating image of Earth and nature. Explain that today's slides will inspire them to think about how they can help protect our planet.

Eco-Friendly Behaviors

Some examples of eco-friendly actions:
• Recycling and reducing waste
• Conserving water and energy
• Planting trees and gardens
• Walking or biking instead of driving

What are some actions you can do every day?

Discuss examples shown on the slide, asking students what additional ideas they might have. Encourage them to think about what they already do to help the environment.

Your Turn to Pledge!

Think about one simple action you can take to help the Earth. It might be as simple as turning off lights when you're not using them or picking up trash in your neighborhood.

Get ready to create your own eco-pledge!

Conclude with a motivational slide that reinforces the importance of personal commitment. Invite students to start thinking about their own ideas for an eco-pledge.
