Step 1

Introduction

  • Welcome students and introduce the activity: decorating flower pots and planting seeds.
  • Briefly discuss the importance of plants in our environment.
  • Explain the steps they will follow: painting pots, planting seeds, and caring for their plants.

Step 2

Decorate Flower Pots

20 mins

  • Distribute flower pots, paints, and brushes to each student.
  • Encourage students to paint spring-themed designs on their pots.
  • Remind them to be creative and have fun with their designs.
  • Allow the pots to dry while discussing plant life.

Step 3

Introduction to Plant Life

10 mins

  • Discuss the basic needs of plants: sunlight, water, and soil.
  • Explain how seeds grow into plants and the role of each part of the plant.

Planting Seeds
