Our Classroom Mosaic Lesson Plan

Students will create individual mosaic tiles that reflect their identities and strengths, then assemble a classroom mosaic and co-create shared promises to foster belonging, diversity appreciation, and community.

This lesson builds a positive, inclusive classroom culture from day one by validating each student’s background, promoting empathy, and establishing collaborative norms that support engagement and respect.
