Step-by-Step Sorting Process

  1. Gather All Laundry Items: Collect everything in one place and check for stains or special instructions.
  2. Check Care Labels: Look for washing, drying, and ironing symbols on each garment’s label.
  3. Sort by Color:
    • Whites: Towels, socks, undergarments
    • Lights/Pastels: Light-colored shirts, sheets
    • Darks: Jeans, dark shirts
  4. Sort by Fabric Type & Weight:
    • Delicates: Silk, lace, thin fabrics
    • Heavy Fabrics: Towels, jeans, sweatshirts
  5. Separate Special Items:
