Sharing Script
Introduction (Teacher says):
"Hello, everyone! Today, we're going to talk about something super important that helps us be great friends and have lots of fun together. We're going to talk about sharing!"
"What do you think sharing means? When do you share things?" (Pause for a few student responses, affirm their ideas).
What Is Sharing? (Using Sharing Slide Deck - Slide 2)
"Look at our slide! Sharing means letting others use our things, taking turns with toys, and being fair with our friends. It's like when you have a yummy snack and you give a little bit to a friend, or when you let someone else play with your favorite block for a little while."
"Why do you think it's good to share? What happens when we share our toys or our time?"
Why Is Sharing So Important? (Using Sharing Slide Deck - Slide 3)
"That's right! Sharing makes our friends happy! When we share, everyone gets a chance to play, and no one feels left out. It helps us play together and makes our classroom a super friendly place. It also makes you feel good inside, doesn't it?"
"Think about a time someone shared with you. How did that make you feel?"
How Can We Share? (Using Sharing Slide Deck - Slide 4)
"So, how can we be awesome sharers? The slide gives us some ideas! We can say, 'My turn, then your turn.' This tells our friend that you will share after you've had a little bit of time. We can also just offer a toy to a friend, or politely ask, 'Would you like to share this with me?'"
"Can anyone give me an idea of something they can share today?"
Let's Practice Our Sharing Superpowers! (Using Sharing Slide Deck - Slide 5)
"Okay, my Sharing Superheroes! It's time to put our sharing skills into practice. We have a special object here today [Hold up the special sharing object, e.g., a plush toy]. We're going to practice taking turns with it. This is how we'll do our Sharing Activity: Pass the Plushie."
"When it's your turn, you can hold the object, give it a little hug, or tell us one thing you like about sharing. Then, when I say 'Share!', you'll gently pass it to the person next to you. Does that sound like fun?"
Conclusion (Teacher says):
"Wow, you all did such a great job practicing sharing today! Remember, sharing makes everyone happy and helps us all be good friends. Keep practicing your sharing superpowers every day!"
"For our cool down, think about one thing you learned about sharing today. We'll talk about it in our Sharing Cool Down."

My Turn, Your Turn: Sharing Fun!
Let's learn how to share and make friends happy!

What Is Sharing?
Sharing means:
- Letting others use our things!
- Taking turns with toys!
- Being fair with our friends!
Explain 'sharing' in easy-to-understand language for Kindergarteners. You can use gestures or examples like sharing crayons or a ball. Emphasize that it's about letting others have a turn or use something we have.
Why Is Sharing So Important?
Sharing makes our friends happy!
Sharing helps everyone play together!
Sharing makes our classroom a friendly place!
Discuss the positive outcomes of sharing. Ask questions like, 'How does it feel when someone shares with you?' or 'What happens when we don't share?' Relate it to making friends and having more fun.
How Can We Share?
We can:
- Say "My turn, then your turn."
- Offer a toy to a friend.

Provide concrete, actionable examples of how they can share. You can role-play or ask students for ideas of how they share at home or school. Keep it simple and focused on actions.
Let's Practice Our Sharing Superpowers!
It's time to be Sharing Superheroes!
We will practice taking turns with our special object.
