Lesson Plan

My Turn, Your Turn Lesson Plan

Students will learn the importance of taking turns by sharing a classroom toy with peers, practicing patience and cooperative language. By lesson’s end, each child will successfully wait and pass a toy in a structured activity.

Taking turns builds social-emotional skills—sharing, patience, empathy—and supports positive peer relationships and self-regulation. Early practice in a safe setting helps Pre-K students navigate group play and develop cooperation.
