Toolkit Creation Plan

In this 30-minute Pre-K lesson, students will learn and practice belly breathing and counting to four as self-calming strategies, then create personalized calm-down kits to use when they feel upset.

Teaching self-management early helps children develop mindfulness and emotional responsibility, reducing tantrums and building lifelong regulation skills.
